FARGO – Kingpinz Social, a 50,000-square-foot bowling and entertainment center, is nearing completion in south Fargo.
The Kingpinz website lists the grand opening day as Jan. 18, 2022.
Property Resources Group is partnering with Christianson Companies and a group of local investors in the venture. Hemisphere Restaurants, the group that operates the Tavern Grill in Fargo, will be the operating partners.
“This is a one-stop shop for entertainment and will be the premier entertainment facility of it’s kind in the region,” Tim Cary, president of Hemisphere Restaurants, said in a news release Monday, Dec. 27.
Kingpinz, at 3485 Jacks Way S., sits next to the Suite Shots golf driving range in the Timber Creek LIVE commercial development.
Kingpinz will have 20 lanes – 14 lanes of public and league Hyper Bowling and six private Hyper Bowling lanes. This facility also features two-story laser tag, escape rooms, charitable gaming, and 50 high-tech arcades games.
Baron’s, a full-service restaurant, and multiple food and drink venues will be part of Kingpinz. They include inside and outside bar seating, and a vintage Airstream snack trailer in the center of the building.
Conference, meeting, banquet, and party rooms will also be available.
The 48 Lounge will have a full bar, large-screen TVs, and lunch and dinner service.
Hiring is ongoing, Tyler Brandt, a commercial Realtor with PRG, said Thursday, Dec. 30. About 130 positions, including managers, food and beverage workers, game zone attendants, customer service people, event sales staff and party hosts must be filled.
“I think the whole entertainment district is a huge need for (this) town. We don’t really have a lot,” said Kevin Christianson, president of PRG and Christianson Companies.
About 29 acres remain for sale or to build-to-suit in the retail and commercial development.
“It will help recruit more people to the area,” Christianson said. “We’re just excited to bring new opportunities to our community.”
